Dance review: Duet
Edinburgh Festival Fringe Scotsman review: Duet at Zoo (Venue 124), reviewed by Kelly Apter
Dancing and talking simultaneously, choreographers Hanna Gillgren and Heidi Rustgaard report back from their spell in couples therapy. But I can only hope they opened up more to their therapist than they do to us – because this duet resides wholly on the surface.
Hanna discovered she was self-absorbed, Heidi had a breakdown trying to run their dance company on her own – but a single, heartfelt emotion that would let the audience in, is nowhere to be found.
Until 24 August. Today 11:45am
