Comedy review: Sam Fletcher – Drawn-out Jokes
Edinburgh Fringe Scotsman review: Sam Fletcher – Drawn-out Jokes at Pleasance Courtyard (Venue 33), reviewed by Kate Copstick
It starts badly when Sam asks us to shout out requests for things for him to draw. And he can’t draw them. He names his furniture and kitchen appliances, he has Siri as a sound operator and some sweet Morgan Freeman based punnery, but this is a fairly dull hour.
His “big finish” is speed typing a report for his day job and failing to guess which (out of four) audience members drew which picture of him. Perhaps he should put himself in the secretarial skills section of the brochure next year because after an hour I left fairly sure he shouldn’t be listed under comedy.
